Entry Requirements
After going through the initial application process and answering the relevant questions – you will be asked to create a tutorial.
This tutorial must align with the platform’s course offerings and should be approximately 6 - 10 minutes in length. This will be your initial auction entry for this process.
The Audition Process
1 After signing up to join the Pluralsight Author community. You'll be provided the tools and guidance needed to set-up and optimize your recording space, and all the materials needed to complete your audition video.
2 You’ll need to think about your teaching style, how you engage with learners, your use of slides & visuals, scripting and structuring of the course you have chosen to teach.
In regards to the tools to use for your audition, ensure there is thought placed on the quality of: Sound & video recording equipment, audio & video software, live coding and more. Aforementioned, its important to note that Pluralsight is more interested in your ability to teach. However you should be provided tips and guidance for completing this process.
3 After recording your audition and submitted it for review, a member of the Pluralsight Team will evaluate your video audition, provide feedback and if your application is successful.
